!Friendica Support Hi, i'm testing Friendica locally using docker to check if it is interesting to host my own instance.

It looks that everything runs well but I don't succeed in taking control to the admin panel.

I've setup my email address in `local.config.php` with `admin_email` key then i've added `admin_name` and my username but I get each time the same result my user is a standard user. Other settings in the same file are setup like close registration or site name.

It's a bit frustrating I think I've not done something correctly but I don't know what?

Can you help me ?

oh i feel a bit stupid and finally found that i've to enter /admin in the url...
in reply to Valvin (Feneas)

Yes you can either enter /admin, or follow the link to the admin panel. Depending on the theme you are using, this is either in the pull-down menu, or located in the navigational bar right next to the search box (an icon with some sliders to adjust values or so).

I've found the icon near the search box. it was tricky to found it :) but using the default theme in docker image there is no "admin menu" elsewhere.

I hear #Docker and #friendica :-) if you have good ideas or want to just try this combination, feel free to use/support https://github.com/friendica/docker

If you do have any troubles with the image or questions, don't hesitate to mention me or directly ask me :-)

@Philipp Holzer it works fines. Except the vier theme which don't show easily admin interface I had no difficulties. Last thing I'm not sure is if my 'worker' is well setup. Thank you
in reply to Valvin (Feneas)

If the worker/daemon isn't working, you will notice a warning on the top of the admin-overiew. Something like The last worker execution was on .... UTC. This is older than one hour. Please check your crontab settings.
