2023.09 (!) RC phase

Hi !Friendica Developers,

I was reminded by @anubis2814 that we missed the milestone month, and we still haven't started the RC phase.

Is there something that prevents us to start the RC phase?

Yes, our git server not being functional and the build script not working properly as well.

@Tobias Hi Tobias, did you get a chance to look into the build script? Do you need help with it? And is there a document listing the steps to release a stable version somewhere I can follow to end the RC phase we’re still in?

@Hypolite Petovan yes, and applied potential fixes. However as you can see on files.friendi.ca, it is still not working. Sometimes it produces archives but not reliable. The synchronization is also from and to github still not working.

Hopefully I have some time this weekend to dig into these issues again.

Hi, the phpunit tests are failing, that's why no archive gets created.

I'll take a look now
